  The Dog Stop franchise is a great alternative to traditional day care and boarding. I prefer this franchise even though others are closer because of the people and because the location is not sitting literally on the edge of a highway as one of the other franchises is. The dogs are sorted by size (usually 3 groups) and placed in rooms together where they have supervised play all day. Each room has a webcam that you can log into and watch your dog having fun. There is also a fully fenced backyard play area with a kiddie style pool for hot summer days. Once your dog is registered (no fee to register), there is no need for an appointment for day care. Just drop your dog off and pick him up during business hours whenever you have the need. Reservations are required for boarding of course. The staff is courteous, sincere and passionate dog lovers, and very knowledgeable.
